My problem? I haven't had a free time for so long... because I have way too many hobbies!
Introduction
While the Knitting & Purling blog initially started exclusively as a knitting blog… it eventually evolved to cover any and all domestic hobbies of mine, including everything to do with arts and crafts!
I had written an About page devoted to listing the numerous different craft hobbies I’ve dabbled in throughout my life. This includes jewelry making, scrapbooking, Japanese paper crafts, and more.
But don’t think that just because I’ve grown older, got myself a career, lassoed myself a husband and settled into the “midlife” phase of my life… I would give up most of these craft leisure activities in exchange for adulthood. No, sirree!
Now that I’ve successfully crossed off those milestones from my list of life goals (Got myself a good career? Check. Got myself a loving husband? Check. Bought ourselves our very own house? Check. Living the good life? Check, check, check and check.)? That only propels me further in wanting to spend more time on hobbies. In fact, with a steady income I can now afford to buy all the craft supplies that I want. And the new house? That just means I can finally realize my dream of building my own craft room!
My current problem? I’m now in a situation where I’ve got myself wrapped up in too many hobbies, and not enough free time to devote to seriously pursuing each individual craft! Let’s just say at the end of the day, I can’t imagine a life without arts and crafts.
