Hello, my name is Karina and I’m a shoeaholic.
To me, I view fashion accessories like jewelry, scarves, handbags and shoes as additional ways for me to express my style and personality beyond just the clothing that I wear.
What I choose to buy and wear? It definitely goes beyond selecting something that’s “the most practical choice.” Which explains why I tend to amass many variations of each type of fashion accessory… so whatever I choose to wear on any given day actually reflects my mood and outlook on life at that particular point in time.
The most obvious example of this? Just like with buying yarn, I have a true lust for color. This means, I always gravitate towards buying fashion accessories in every color shade of the rainbow.
This is especially true when it comes to shoes. Reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, violets… I literally own footwear in every one of those colors. Now you see why I had to transform an entire bedroom in our new house into a walk-in closet… with two half-walls devoted only to housing shoes and boots!
